In the darkest hours…

It was 3am. My husband and I were fast asleep. ( I’m telling this story from personal accounts) something about my breathing woke my husband. He tried to wake me to no avail. He slapped my face to rouse me and nothing was working so he called 911. He checked for a pulse and couldn’t find it. He began chest compressions and CPR. My adult children were there watching as he tried to bring life back into me. The medics arrived and used Narcan as they suspected I was overdosing due to my medication and my kidney dialysis not working properly. I breathed normally again. They hit me with a second Narcan and I came to. God is so good!! He puts just the right people together exactly where and when you need them. If he hadn’t stirred my husband awake, if my husband hadn’t had the proper skills to keep me alive, if God has not had the wherewithal to lead the creation of Narcan, my life would be over. God has more in store for me and for my life. Even though I’ve had a hard go of it, with T1 diabetes, kidney failure, losing my sight and so much more, I KNOW MY GOD IS GREAT and will lead me through. There is something I have left to do. There is more to my story…
