In 1996, Tom and his wife Sid were living a comfortable life in their small town. Tom was a respected physician with a thriving practice, and everything seemed stable — until December, when a diagnosis shattered their world. At only 41, Tom was diagnosed with mantle cell lymphoma, an aggressive stage IV cancer. Doctors gave him only months to live, with no hope for a cure.

Tom says: “Words cannot express my gratitude to the Lord. It has changed the way I look at things — as a Christian and as a physician. I now see life in a new light that brings joy and understanding.”
