A Prayer for Justice, Healing, and Accountability
God of justice and mercy,
We come before You with hearts heavy for those who have been violated, silenced, and harmed.
You see every wound that was hidden, every cry that went unheard, every life altered by cruelty.
We ask that truth be revealed and justice be done—
that those who commit violence be stopped, held accountable, and prevented from harming again.
Strengthen all who investigate, prosecute, and protect, that they act with wisdom, courage, and integrity.
Wrap the survivors in care, dignity, and peace.
Restore what was taken where restoration is possible;
grant comfort where loss cannot be undone;
and surround them with people who believe them and stand with them.
For communities shaken by these crimes, plant vigilance and compassion.
Break cycles of abuse, indifference, and silence.
Teach us to protect the vulnerable, challenge injustice, and choose courage over fear.
May light overcome darkness.
May justice roll on, and may healing begin.
